Hello Tracker Gang!
I love learning about history! It is always fun to see how much things have changed over time. Can you believe that the first vaccine was given over 200 years ago? They didn’t even have cars back then! How would the dogs stick their heads out of the window?
Dr. Edward Jenner created the very first vaccine, and he gave his little son 8-year old James Phillip immunity from smallpox. For many years after that was the only vaccine that was used around the world, but today there are so many more vaccines. We have to make sure that we stay up to date on all the vaccines so we can all protect ourselves from getting sick!
Love,
Tracker.
