The human body is so crazy, because it can do so many things all at once. It has the help of many organs, such as the heart and lungs, working together to keep you alive. One organ I learned about today is the liver. The liver is such a cool organ because it does so many different things! It breaks down foods, purifies certain substances and stores energy to use later! The liver is a super important organ and therefore it is very important that people take care of their livers. 

One way you can take care of your liver is by getting your hepatitis A and B vaccinations. These vaccines help protect your liver against viruses that can cause hepatitis. Hepatitis can affect anyone, so it is very important that everyone stay up to date on their hepatitis vaccination.
